Sunrise Beach is home to the central hotels of Protaras, Cyprus. It is located right next door to the famous Fig Tree Bay and is in fact its long extension. This beach is rightly ranked 6th in the ranking of beaches in Cyprus.
In the morning you can enjoy the peace and privacy while all the tourists are still out of their hotels.
However, the beach fills up quickly, especially during the summer months. Nevertheless, there is enough space for everyone and you will not feel crowded like at Fig Tree Bay or Nissi.
One of the differences between Sunrise Beach and the neighbouring Fig Tree bay is that on Sunrise Beach the entrance to the water is deeper and in some places there are rocks.
